I finished it a couple of nights ago and really enjoyed it! Happy to see that Titus abomination didn't kill RoboCop games for good. Definitely going to do a second run soon to make different decisions.
Anyone else have anything to say about it?
Nope.
As of about a year ago, there was reportedly a TV series and a movie in early development. Since there hasn't been any more news on either (and a writers' strike occurred in the interim), it's highly unlikely that we'll see either for a few years.

A release date is weirdly absent from the trailer despite it supposedly coming out next month. I've found some questionable websites reporting a delay until November, so maybe those are true? I guess we'll see.
Trailer looks solid though. And unless my eyes are deceiving me, it seems Lewis has Nancy Allen's likeness, at least.
Edit: A delay to November 2 is confirmed.

Confirmed to be set between the second and third films. Lewis and Reed will appear alongside Murphy, but it doesn't appear that Nancy Allen is involved. Robert DoQui passed in 2008, so don't expect to hear him either.
Game looks solid though. Looking forward to it!

No word if either project is connected to RoboCop Returns or the oh-so-greatly anticipated Dick Jones prequel TV series that was in development.
Gameplay has been revealed for Rogue City. And it seems they got Peter Weller!
I got the new release of The Series on DVD (would have gotten Blu-ray if it had the original aspect ratio...) and already noticed a few oddities.
In Sarah Campbell's (Gadget) bio, they inexplicably use an image of Peter Costigan (Jimmy Murphy)
Some of the trivia seems to be copied and pasted directly from this Wiki, so I hope the stuff they used is actually correct...
There seems to be a lack of subtitles. Although I don't personally need them, that is a major downside for anyone who does, especially since that should be an expected feature in any DVD/Blu-ray release. The Tubi.tv version has subtitles, if anyone needs an alternative, though that has ads and I'm not sure how widely available it is. Can't say whether the Blu-ray version has them or not.
Other than these things and the Blu-ray aspect ratio debacle, it seems like a serviceable - though somewhat lazy - release. Beats trying to watch it on Tubi.tv for sure, unless you need subtitles.
I think it definitely is clear to me now that they intended to create a new continuity (I added a section to the Series article to help make sense of the dilemma) by ignoring 2 and 3, but I think we should continue editing with the assumption that the Series is in continuity with the films. And like I said before, we can explain any inconsistencies within the articles. It appears most of the issues just stem from the new characters completely replacing ones from the original film, not so much because of the disregard of 2 and 3.
This is kind of what I'm going for: https://robocop.fandom.com/wiki/User:Special_Agent_Dale_Cooper/Sandbox
There is information missing from The Series and Prime Directives, but I'll work those into there. The only concern I have is characters with different names depending on the work, such as you can see with Murphy's dad and wife. But I think it'll be fine in the end.
As for the order of main events, I'll place them all in release order, since there's no solid continuity. So:
RC1
RC2
RC3
The Series
Prime Directives
2003 game
Still I am uncertain how I'll work comic book stuff into it, but I will leave it separate for now since there's just so much to sift through and again, I've read very little. The animated shows will remain separate since they take the most liberties with continuity (especially the first series in regards to RC1 characters)
Since there has been no response, I suppose I'll start making these changes within the next few days. If anyone objects even after this is done, please don't hesitate to say something!
I will add notices to the top of articles that are missing information, such as an article that's missing RoboCop: The Series info will have a notice saying it's missing such info. I think Wookieepedia does something like that, so it would be useful here.
I hope that this post doesn't end up being confusing, but it's been a while since I've edited much here, but since other properties whose Wikis I edit have slowed down, I'd like to devote more time here to help prepare for Rogue City and RoboCop Returns, (if the latter ever actually happens).
As it stands right now, there exists space for several continuities: film trilogy, the two animated series, the comics (which may have several continuities within), the live-action TV series, Prime Directives, the 2003 game, and the remake.
Now, all except the remake continuity star the original incarnation of RoboCop, but because some contradict other RoboCop releases (such as the original animated series' version of Clarence), they've been separated into different continuities. On the other hand, I'm not certain that the live-action series, Prime Directives, the comics, or 2003 game have enough diversions (or any at all, I haven't seen all of the TV series, read all of the comics, or played the game) to relegate them to their own continuities. So, I'm thinking that perhaps we should consolidate the articles down to the OG version of RoboCop and the remake RoboCop, and somehow acknowledge any continuity errors within the articles. I feel this may be easier than my original intent for separate continuities, especially since there is no officially-established canon. If RoboCop Returns happens, we'll figure out how to accommodate its continuity, since it's explicitly supposed to create a new timeline, as it is supposed to ignore everything but RC1.
Thoughts, anyone? If this thread doesn't any traction, I'll start consolidating things down soon, though I'm open to discussion if anyone wants to keep the articles for separate timelines.
Very interesting. Good eye!
Interesting. Wanted photos of them on the police station's bulletin board, I assume?
When are they shown in the film? I was unaware of this.
The developers of Terminator: Resistance have announced they're making a RoboCop game! I actually enjoyed Resistance, so I'm looking forward to this one.
Thoughts, anyone?

I'm not really sure what to think, myself.
Thoughts, anyone?
When the new film was initially announced (way back in January), it was said that it will ignore everything but the original film: filmschoolrejects.com/ed-neumeier-is-writing-a-new-robocop-2
Not sure if that's still the plan, but we'll see.
