Captain Ethan was the leader of the Stompers gang that terrorized Old Detroit during a bout of forced power rationing.
Biography[]
On a night with the power shut down, Ethan rallied his men and they began their night by destroying an ATM. They later waited on the street until Joe and Ami Avery, with their ailing son Josh emerged. The gang stopped them and Ethan approached, intimidating Joe until RoboCop arrived. Ethan and his men merely laughed at the threat, as their plow truck then sped over RoboCop's TurboCruiser and RoboCop himself. One of Ethan's men showed him to a hideout where the Averys sought refuge with RoboCop, and Ethan decided it best to return when they had gathered their forces. He delivered a rallying speech to his men later that night.[1]
In the morning, the gang gathered outside of the hideout and charged inside. However, they were quickly fended off by RoboCop with the aid of Joe, Norton, and the OCP Chairman. Retreating outside, Ethan boarded a tow truck with the intent of running down RoboCop. However, the cyborg managed to hold on to the truck, eventually grabbing it by its tow cable, forcing it to suddenly stop, sending Ethan through the windshield and into the arms of the law.[1]
