D. Chessman[1] was an officer of the Detroit Police Department Metro West precinct.
Biography[]
Chessman was present upon Alex Murphy's arrival and overheard Kaplan's suggestion for a strike, grimacing as he noticed Sergeant Warren Reed entering as Kaplan spoke. Reed then announced the death of Frank Frederickson and strongly advised against a strike.[2]
After the construction of RoboCop, Chessman witnessed his marksmanship at the precinct's firing range.[2]
Years later, Chessman had too many people filing complaints, so he asked RoboCop for assistance.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Chessman was named after robber, kidnapper, and serial rapist Caryl Chessman.[3]
