Holzgang was a lawyer for OCP.
Biography[]
When Ellen Murphy took legal action against OCP after being stalked by RoboCop, Holzgang videotaped a questioning with the cyborg, forcing him to confirm that Alex Murphy was dead and that RoboCop was simply a machine.[1]
Later, Holzgang was with the Old Man during Marvin Kuzak's visit, telling him that according to what they signed, OCP intended to utilize the police strike in order to privatize all of Detroit.[1]
When RoboCop was dismantled by the Nuke Cult, Holzgang derided Garcia who believed that he actually felt pain. A cold-hearted Holzgang explained that what seemed as suffering were just electric shocks and malfunctions; RoboCop was only a product, not a human and OCP could not afford repairs.[1]
Eventually, it was proposed by Dr. Juliette Faxx to reprogram RoboCop. Holzgang assisted a team in removing RoboCop's parts from Metro North, denying Garcia, who wanted to oversee the repairs. He also derided Reed, who called him "shyster" and asked to see RoboCop again on his feet. Holzgang would not promise anything since RoboCop was "off warranty."[1]
Later, Holzgang assisted the Old Man and Juliette Faxx in their schemes to replace Robocop and kill the mayor and his associates by RoboCop 2.[1]
Following chaos caused by RoboCop 2, Donald Johnson made the suggestion to blame Faxx for the deaths caused by RoboCop 2. Holzgang approved of this, saying that OCP would be protected.[1]
