Jerry Haynes was an American actor who portrayed Dr. McNamara in RoboCop.
Haynes was best known for portraying the character Mr. Peppermint in the Dallas-based children's shows Mr. Peppermint and Peppermint Place.
His son, Gibson "Gibby" Haynes, is most well known as the frontman for the also Dallas-based psychedelic rock band, Butthole Surfers.
