The "Old Woman" was the chairwoman of Omni Consumer Products and head of Delta City.

Despite assurances to the contrary, the Chairwoman was concerned that OCP was on the verge of complete and total financial collapse due to the budget overruns caused by the privatization of Old Detroit into Delta City. Because of this she was looking for a way to strengthen OCP's financial outlooks and, although skeptical, agreed to Damian Lowe's S.A.I.N.T. project, an AI designed to automate OCP headquarters and eventually Delta City.[1]

The Old Woman later critiqued Security Concepts head Sara Cable for the "zero fatality" policy she instated for the police, feeling that it prevented the police from capturing a group of tech thieves that had broken into OCP. Worried that the thieves were after S.A.I.N.T., Sara scoffed at the possibility. Damian stated that there had been some damage to S.A.I.N.T.'s system, but was more likely caused by RoboCop. However, the Old Woman refused to pin the blame on the cyborg, believing him to be a bastion of safety for Delta City.[2]

In the evening, as she got into her car to be driven home, the Old Woman and her driver were confronted by RoboCable, a cyborg created from the remains of the late John Cable. Because his appearance was identical to RoboCop and his development was done in secret, the Old Woman believed he was RoboCop. RoboCable pulled the Old Woman and her driver out of the car before destroying it and carrying out various attacks in the city.[2]

At the next board meeting, the Old Woman demanded that RoboCop be taken off the streets. Lowe suggested they summon Systems Support, also known as "RoboHunters" to remove him, but she scolded Lowe for even mentioning the group, telling him to never bring them up at an open meeting. Sara approached the Old Woman to mention a contingency plan for dealing with RoboCop. The Old Woman gave her the authority to enact this plan. She announced RoboCop's recall to the public.[2]

In his own efforts to terminate RoboCop, Lowe summoned Systems Support without the Old Woman's approval. For this, she met with him privately to be disavowed and immediately removed from the company. Lowe then used S.A.I.N.T. to alter the environment of the conference room, causing them to suffer fatal heart attacks. Despite her efforts to end his employment with OCP, Lowe was made her successor as Chairperson of OCP.[2]
