"Tastes like baby food!"
A "rudimentary paste" was a food supplement developed to sustain RoboCop's organic systems. It could be dispensed from a machine in RoboCop's maintenance chamber and placed into paper cups. It is not known how RoboCop actually ingested the paste; the paper cups seemed to indicate a simple swallowing procedure. It is also unknown what became of the waste elements after the paste had been "digested" in his system.
History[]
While the maintenance chamber was being set up at the Metro West Precinct, Dr. Roosevelt gave Bob Morton and Donald Johnson a brief tour. He dispensed some paste from the machine and handed it Johnson, who sampled it, and remarked that it tasted like "baby food."[1]
Baby food would itself become RoboCop's main form of sustenance, specifically Baby Maid brand.[2]
