R. Stef[1] was an officer of the Detroit Police Department.
Biography[]
Stef was one of the many officers at the Metro North precinct who went on strike. When he witnessed RoboCop electrocuting himself, he kept Anne Lewis from touching the cyborg as he was being shocked. He then assisted in picking RoboCop up off of the ground before going back on duty at RoboCop's urging, assisting in a raid on the Nuke Cult's base of operations at an old sludge plant. There, he discovered a trailer where Nuke was being manufactured, escaping it just before a bomb destroyed it.[2]
He later reported to the chaos caused by RoboCop 2 at the Civic Centrum and was shot by the crazed cyborg and crawled away from the car he was using for cover as it was destroyed.[2]
Stef was later transferred to Metro West. When RoboCop came down to the Holding Cells carrying a drunkard who had been in and out of the cells a number of times before, Stef directed RoboCop to put the drunkard in any of the empty cells. Stef later came and informed RoboCop that Warren Reed wanted everyone in the briefing room in five minutes for a briefing about the "new guy in town."[1]
