Stewart Granger was the commanding officer of OCP's Anti-Corporate Terrorism Squad or ACT Squad for short. Prior to this position, he worked for the Detroit Police Department.
Biography[]
During his time with the DPD, he worked alongside Russell Murphy.[1]
The ACT Squad was first unveiled by the Chairman to OCP personnel during a 50th anniversary celebration. The festivities were soon interrupted by the police, who had received a bomb threat. Granger took control of the situation, but RoboCop quickly defused the bomb.[1]
Murphy later offered his help in taking down the bomber, Felix Webber. However, Granger declined his help, believing the ACT Squad would be just fine with their technology. After Murphy left, the ACT Squad examined Webber's last targets. Using the pattern he had used before, the ACT Squad determined that the next target would be OCP Commemorative Park. There, they only found a suspicious case filled with spiders and a taunting message from Webber, who threatened to bomb the OCP towers. Granger sent one group to the towers and led another group to the OCP Refinery, where RoboCop and Russell Murphy were defusing a bomb.[1]
Later, at the towers, Webber was detected entering the building. Granger and Lempke went to confront him, but found that he had a nuclear bomb. He tied them up and they remained hostages until RoboCop and Russell Murphy managed to foil Webber's plans.[1]
