J. Whitakker[1] was a Detroit Police officer at the Metro North precinct.
Biography[]
While on strike with many of his fellow officers, he talked to Mediabreak about how OCP cut their salaries to 40% and the resulting strike. He seemed puzzled by OCP's treatment, seeming like they wanted the strike.[2]
After witnessing RoboCop electrocute himself, Whittaker helped pick up the cyborg until he asked to be put down. Whittaker asked RoboCop what was bothering him, and was told that Cain was disturbing the cyborg. At RoboCop's urging, Whittaker went back on duty, assisting in the raid on the Nuke Cult's hideout at an old sludge plant.[2]
Later, Whitaker transferred to Metro West and was overseeing the shooting range when RoboCop went in for a scheduled calibration by OCP.[1]
